Celebrating with Mickey and Co - Day 4

Sunday February 8th 2009

Today we were up at about 7.30am and out to get the bus by 8.40am. Arriving at Magic Kingdom for just after 9.00am. It was a lovely sunny day and looked quite busy.

First stop was the Jungle Cruise which we haven’t done in a while but was quite amusing!

Then it was off to see Johnny!

After this we walked up to Frontierland and decided although sunny too cool for getting wet on Splash Mountain.

I think a lot of other people had the same idea as a lot of the boats came down empty.

We took a ride on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This was virtually a walk on

Frontierland is a lovely little area and the paddle steamer always makes a good photo!

Then it was time for the Haunted Mansion.

As we got into Fantasyland it was getting alot busier.

We rode Peter Pan and the went to see Mickey’s PhilharMagic. Then we went on Winnie the Pooh.

By now it was midday and a few clouds were appearing.

So we went back to SSR and made a snack in the room before heading out to the pool.

As the blue skies were so lovely we stayed until the sun started setting and the temperature dropped. Tonight we stayed on site and went to DTD for the T-Rex restaurant. We got there about 7.30pm and it was busy! Our wait time was about 40 minutes. Once inside the place is huge.

But the dino’s are cute

We shared the appetiser of quesadillas.

I then had the ribs.

Nathan had the chicken and a salad, which took a while to arrive!

After this we decided to wander past the Lego store and I thought these pictures were very good.

Then it was time to head back to SSR and we decided to walk back. Tomorrow would be Animal Kingdom.

Great day.We have a ressie for Trex Cafe and can't wait my girls love dinosaurs and are very excited to be going there.The food looks nice.
I can't wait to go on the Jungle Cruise,i have'nt been on this since 1995.x.
