Today we were expecting it to be busy so headed off to Universal nice and early arriving just after 9am. Once again it was a very sunny day. First stop was Hulk and it was about a 20 minute wait and we decided to go for the front of the ride this time as when you have FOTL this is not an option.

By now the crowds were building and we made our ay round the park, but decided to give Bluto and Popeye a miss as we didn’t fancy getting too wet, and neither did these people by the looks of things!

At least walking around this area gives a good view of the park.

From here you could also see the construction work for RockIt the new rollercoaster in universal.

It was then time to carry on, stopping to watch Dudley Do-Right for a while.

Then we were onto Jurassic Park.

As the ride isn’t too much of a soaker we took our chances here!

We were planning on going on Duelling Dragons but with all the construction work for Harry Potter it was difficult to get to so we gave a miss but did have a look at the Harry Potter construction and notices.

And had a look back across the park to Jurassic Park.

Then we headed back to the Hulk and the queues had died down a lot so we went on this once more before deciding to go on Spiderman and then head off for lunch.

As Hard Rock Café is a favourite of ours we went there.

It wasn’t very busy and we were soon seated in the Ritchie Sambora area :thumbsup2

We shared an appetiser :)

When we left headed off for a few final pictures at Citywalk and around the Universal entrance.

It was then a short drive down the I4 and back onto WDW property :)

The sunset once again was lovely.

Tonight we fancied a meal out thinking of pizza and finally decided we should drive to Café D’Antonio in Celebration as we had a good meal here in October 2007. So we headed out soon after 7pm and somehow took the wrong turning just as we got to the I4 by Celebration and ended up on the 417 which was deserted it looked like no-one ever uses it! Once back on track, after paying a couple of tolls, we arrived shortly after 8pm and then had a look at other menus in the area before deciding to definitely go in Café D’Antonio. It was busy and we were soon seated. To start with I had the ceasar salad.

While Nathan had the bruschetta.

We both decided on the marsala sauce but I had mine with chicken.

And Nathan had his with the veal.

As the portions were not huge I then had the chocolate mousse and raspberry sauce.

While Nathan finished with the chocolate ice cream.

After such a lovely meal we drove back to WDW and prepared for our final full day :(

That's a different photo of the arch, never seen one taken at night before. Love the Boardwalk at sunset photo as well. :thumbsup2

Another lovely day, great picture of the arch at night.

I was thinking about braving Hulk this year but after seeing your photos taken from that angle it looks terrifying so maybe not! :scared1:

Another lovely report.

There is nothing to worry about on The Hulk you are totally safe Jen.:goodvibes I find Dr Doom more scary when you leave the seat the the top.

That food looks lovely, especially the choc mousse with raspberry sauce. We like Universal/IOA we class them as rest days -they never seem to be as manic as the Disney parks-especially Universal.x.

Another great set of pics :)

You guys got off lightly from Dudley Do Right!

D'oh! :rolleyes1

The JP pics hadn't loaded when I was looking at that part!!

Great pics and TR again Claire.
My DD loves Hulk and always drags me on with her - I don't mind it too much but think it goes on for one or 2 loops too long.
I reckon you got off lightly on JP. Were did you sit for that ride? We normally sit in the front row and get the bow-wave coming over the top :thumbsup2
