Celebrating retirement ideas at WDW

I know you can get button for birthdays, anniversary, and ect. My dad is taking the family to WDW to celebrate his retirement of 35 years from the fire department next summer. I was thinking about having a special cake at one of our dinners but is there anything I can do to have some extra pixie dust sent his way? He has had burns more times then I can count, his response vehicle was flipped responding to a call and it really messed up his back and early on he lost his best work buddy in the line of duty that is just to name a few. Any ideas would be great. His retirement is bitter sweet to all of us. We are so proud of everything he does and love our fire fighter family.

You may want to check in at the Town Hall and Main Street early one morning, and see if you can sign him up to do the Retreat Ceremony at the end of the day. DH is a military veteran, and it was really special when I arranged for him and bil (also military) to do the retreat. It's hard to get (I don't think you can call in advance anymore), but worth it. I think they give priority to military, fire and police.

There is a store right near the entrance to the park that looks like an old firehouse. They sell all kinds of fireman related merchandise and they also have a place where firefighters can bring in patches to hang up from their local station.

I will buy the photopass and do a scrapbook for her.
