Celebrating friend's 50th birthday during DL's 50th Anniversary Celebrations

Our upcoming trip is in honour of my best friend's 50th birthday. As we'll be there during the start of the Happiest Celebration on Earth festivities, I thought we should do something special.

Anyone have any ideas? Or better still, does anyone know if Disney is offering anything special for those the same age as Disneyland?

That part made me sit up and take notice! I may not be going to DL but, as WDW is also celebrating the anniversary, I'll be watching this thread with interest ....

As for any suggestions for something special for you and your friend in DL, I can't help but I'm sure someone here will come up with a good idea or two.

Sorry, Hil - didn't explain myself very well. We will be at WDW, not DL. Not that it makes much difference - my question is still the same!

LOL! I actually replied first of all with some wittering about WDW, then thought I'd got it wrong and decided you meant DL
