Celebrating Easter 2011 on the Magic

Do I have to call to switch it? We had late dining last time and dh said he would prefer early. I noticed that it's beginning to fill up though. I was hoping for some pixie dust!

In case anyone was assigned to late dining and wanted early, it is now available. We were on the wait list and were switched over automatically.
From the looks of things, I don't think the ship will be very full.

Just a quick note - I was on with Disney cruise people because I could not log onto one of our reservations to do online checkin today. I asked what special events might be going on during our week and she excitedly said "wow, you will be on for the Royal Wedding" - she thought DCL would definitely try to show it assuming they can get the satellite feed. Just thought I would share as I remember some people inquiring about the wedding.

My dh says that's the only reason I didn't fly the first time as I would have been able to pack it all! I tend to overpack!

I, like you, am getting VERY excited! I have 2 little girls, so dressing and packing for them is part of the fun for me. Everytime I think they have enough clothes, something cuter comes along! Let's just say that I'm glad we're driving down because that 50lb suitcase limit would hamper my plans!

Is there a current list for the Fish Extender? And can we put how many are in the family? Right now it's just their dis name and kids. I have myself, dh and dd so 3.

Love cruising the Magic and looking forward to a week relaxing. Probably won't do much in the way of excursions this trip.

If you booked yourself, you can do it online. If you booked through a TA, give them a call.

Wow, you have a great family - beat our record! We have 3 girls DD10, DD8, DD6 and DS4! It will be fun to have our girls meet up since your younger 2 DDs will be with my oldest 2 girls.

Hopefully we can plan a meet & greet the afternoon we board the ship.

This was the last "roster" that was posted 2/13/11. Does anyone know if this is still correct? Has anyone added. We are ready to finalize our FE gift plans and don't want to leave anyone out. I'm DW of mlemmons.

Still not sure whether to switch to early dining or not. We did late last time, I have a 7 year old, either way we will be up for the shows. Will we be out in plenty of time for the pirate party if we stay on the late? What about seeing the characters before dinner? I know last time at the early one they had them split and sometimes at the later one they had Mickey and Minnie together. Is your best bet to see them at early or late dining?

I am fine with waiting till the 18th...can we pm the list with the rooms to the people participating? Also what happens if our room numbers change? I thought about this and I guess we could stick a note in the other participating FE. It's getting closer and closer!!

I think a cut-off is good idea and March 18 or maybe one more week (Mar 25) is enough time (like 4-5 weeks before cruise). I am surprised more people are not on our thread as I know the ship is sold out (or very close) when I had to talk to Disney person a week ago. I think quality over quantity sounds perfect for FE but still thought we would have more interested!

We have assigned cabins that are not changing - I prefer to PM that info. I also think last time we all corresponded via email with the final FE list and cabin #s etc. Just a thought to send email address too. Do we want to plan to set a time for quick meet & greet once on the ship? Nice for kids to meet other that may be in kids club with them and fun to place name with face.

Welcome to the group! And glad you want to join FE - it is fun for the kids. Easter - I know they are having an easter service with priest and minister and believe the big bunny does make apperance too. I think I also heard there is a special easter breakfast but not sure how that works. Anyone else heard anything?

Another question, I have been searching the web in hopes of finding a large chocolate Mickey for the basket, in place of the traditional Rabbit. I have found only lollis, small chocolates, bars and rice crispies. Any great sources for Disney themed chocolates?

The boat has only recently started to fill up...I had been checking it periodically and I know at least a month ago, every catagory was available but recently only verandah was. I have been on a sold out boat before and it was ok but I was hoping that it wouldn't be.
