When we went to WDW in May '05 we were there for my DS3's birthday. We are also planning another May trip in '08 and will celebrate his birthday and now my DD3months birthday again. My DS6 will turn 7 on Nov. 23 (Thanksgiving Day) We are going to WDW December 2-9. We would like to celebrate his birthday while we are there, because he feels so left out that his siblings can have their birthdays there and not him. We're planning on having breakfast at Chef Mickey's our first day there on the 2nd. Do you think they would do anything for us, such as a happy birthday card from the characters or a cupcake. Those were a couple of things that my DS3 got at the Crystal Palace for his birthday. Should we just tell them that it's his birthday that day or tell them his birthday was last week.

We were scheduled for a trip to Disneyland last April, and would be celebrating DS's 2nd birthday while there. We had to cancel the trip when DH wound up in the hospital.

We are now rescheduled for late September, which occurs near all our other family celebrations (DH's birthday and older DS's 6th birthday in late August, our anniversary in September, my birthday just after we return home.)

So I scheduled two character meals, and told the person I made the reservations with that one was to celebrate DS6's birthday, and the other to be a make-up celebration of DS2's birthday. I think all they do is sing Happy Birthday and bring a little cupcake, so not a huge deal, and I don't feel bad about it not being on the actual day (or in DS2's case, even near the day.) We'll also have the boys wear a birthday button on the designated day. I think it will make the boys so happy to each have a special day.

You'll only be off by one week, don't sweat it! :teeth:

thanks, I didn't want to tell Chef Mickey's that it wasn't his birthay and have them say that they only do celebrations on the childs actual birthday. DS6 would be so upset.
