I truly apologize for my lack of being here. I spent all morning catching up on all of the other threads again.
Work is just killing me, I spent all day Saturday baking Christmas cookies and on the phone with my daughter-in-law and yesterday I cleaned the house all day since this coming weekend is shot and then we leave. On top of that, my brother is having more medical issues and I'm just totally drained.
I can understand about being busy... Well other than baking Christmas cookies... and cleaning the house.... Ok, I guess I'm not all that busy.
The good news is Andy started teaching on Friday (the teacher left to have her baby) and Mark's kids are doing well early in the wrestling season.
Awesome news. I bet Andy is an excellent teacher. Funny you mention teaching. My daughter texted me today and has informed me that she has now decided that she wants to be a teacher when she graduates from high school.
And I have to tell you what my sweet boy did. I told you about the dog and the shoes. Well, last Monday, Alisha called him when she was leaving work as she always does. Mark told her there was a phone number on the dresser he needed when she got home and to call him with it. Well, there was no note with a phone number. There was a note that said: "look in the closet." Hanging in the closet was a new dress and a NEW pair of zebra patterned shoes like the ones Rolo chewed up. A note attached to the shoes said to go in the kitchen and there was a note there that said: "Be ready at 8, we're going on a date." I don't know where he got his romantic side...it sure wasn't his father.

Judging from those smoochie smoochie pics from the MK, I'm willing to bet Mark has a touch of romance in him.
Okay, back to our plans.
After we leave the Magic Kingdom, we are heading here:
We want to spend the afternoon seeing the things we missed on our full day on Thursday. This would include some of this:
Storytellers (but without a cute couple in the photo)
I had no idea about Storytellers in the World Showcase until just the other day. I am really looking forward to taking my time and hearing them.
We have dinner at the Coral Reef at 4:05 p.m. Why so early? Because we will be going to see this afte our dinner:
I may in the minority here on the DIS, but I have been to the Coral Reef three times and have enjoyed it each time.
Mark and I are really looking forward to this. Our narrator is Whoopi Goldberg and we hear she is marvelous.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the CP as well. Our narrator will be Gary Sinese. Our dinner package is at Tokyo Dining.
With the CP package, we also get special seating for Illuminations. Now, as most of you know, we are not Illumination fans at all, but being that we get special seating and I've heard they do a "Christmas" themed one, we will stay for it.
I'm like you with the Illuminations, been there done that.. Or at least for me that is the case. We were not planning on watching it until I heard it is different during the Christmas season.
Sunday, December 8
We originally had an 8 a.m. or something like that flight. Then American Airlines went and changed flights and our flight was at 6:30 a.m. This would mean leaving the resort at 4:00, if not earlier, to return the rental car, check in, go through security, grab something to eat, etc. Mark was NOT happy. He called American Airlines on Saturday and they willingly (without any change fees, difference in fare, etc)., moved us to the 11:45 a.m. flight where there were still seats available. So what did I do with this new info? I booked a breakfast, of course. And where will we be eating? Sorry, Tim, it's not Kona (although I tried...no availability; but we are definitely eating there in September). We will be eating breakfast here:
I'm glad things worked out for you with American Airlines. I agree, that would have been a real bear having to get up that early to fly back home. Enjoy that breakfast as well. When we stay at the AKL in June we are going to do a breakfast there as well.
