My daughter's (and son's) birthdays are in May, and we can't go during that time because of school schedules (and prom), but we are going over spring break in March. Other than the free day / gift card, can you still celebrate birthdays even not during the exact time? The trip is an early part of their birthday presents.

Hey you should go for it! I've read about other people on here celebrating anniversaries and birthdays early or late there. And we're celebrating with our honeymoon there about a year after the fact soo... :rotfl:

Since WDW has so many days of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party before Halloween and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party before Christmas, if you want to celebrate their birthdays early no one will care. Plus you can also get them the it's my birthday buttons which are free and are available at Guest Relations in the parks or the lobby Concierge desk at your resort.

Also a few years ago at Chef Mickey's we celebrated my dad's birthday a few days early because we were going to be back home when it was actually happening, so when we told our server about it Goofy brought him a cup cake with a candle. We also did the same thing for my mom's birthday at Ohana, because it actually happened a week before we got there and we decided to celebrate it there.
