Celebrate the Mouse DVD's???? anyone??

Hi all....wasn't sure where to post this, but:

Do any of y'all have the DVD's that are sold through the Celebrate the Mouse website??

I'm just wondering how the quality and content is and whether they are worth purchasing...

The MK set is 14 discs (I think..) and is on sale for $15. If you buy two items they ship for free, so I was thinking about adding the "Resorts and DTD" which isn't on sale, and is $35.

I figured I should try to get some feedback on these before spending $50 on them! I think it would be fun to watch b/w trips when we need a little fixin' of the magic. I would also like to "tour" the resorts I haven't stayed in from the comfort of my couch, as well as allow my kids to see the attractions they have reservations about going on. Maybe seeing them in detail will help them decide if they want to go on them or not.

But if the quality is crummy it wouldn't be something I'm interested in, soooooo....anybody have 'em? Any feedback appreciated!!

I just purchased 2 sets they took 2 1/2 weeks to get them. and half of them on both sets did not work. and they came only in a 4 dic set.what they are is someone cam corded their vacation.But what I could see of them they did a good job. But not worth that kind of $$$. I will not buy from them again.

They are just something they recorded and made copies of.
and they dont play well.:mad:
 
Quality not great as PP said; don't look professional at all. Took 2 1/2 weeks for my order to ship, not 2-5 days as stated when I ordered. The Resorts and DTD Dvd's are for sure not worth the $$. I paid $27 including shipping for the set (4 instead of 14); barely worth the money.

My 3 year old grand daughter likes the DVD's; this was a family trip to WDW so I will keep them. The resorts and other set was sent at no charge because I waited so long for the order. I saw the link here on the DISboards; live and learn.

Yes I did they said they would send me new ones out but I never got them.
I filed a claim with paypal.
 
Well, I just wanted to follow up and tell you guys some interesting things.

I attempted to cancel my order b/c of this negative feedback, but was told that my order had already been prepared for shipment. A few minutes later I did receive some type of automated shipment notification via my e-mail.

the person who is in charge of customer service for this company has been a complete delight. She has gone so "over the top" to address my concerns and stay in communication. I told her why I wanted to cancel my order and she assured me that should any of the DVD's not work that they would be replaced, free of hassle.

She also told me that "mickeymum" had a replacement order in transit and that the order had just been placed a few days ago, so I don't know what that is all about as I'm sure mickeymum wouldn't contact Paypal if she only requested a replacement earlier this week. :confused3

Anyway, I will post back upon receiving my order to let you all know if my DVD's worked and if the quality is "watch-able" :rotfl:
Hopefully I won't feel that I wasted my money when this is all said and done

Thanks for letting me know they are on the way. LOL ... they could have told me that. I will let you know when I get them and if they work this time.

What she dont know is we are taking her and her sister in Jan :goodvibes This will be her first time:goodvibes the big surprise will be on Christmas day!when they open the princess costumes I purchased for them.Thank God it will only be a month from Christmas when we go LOL.. she will drive her mom nuts!! LOL..
And I just found out her mom and dad are going to fly out and join us for 4 days!

The video was well worth it, even my 7 mo old loves it :wizard:. They are going to be so stinkin excited when they find out at Christmas :santa:... and YES, thanks mum in advance I will probably lose my sanity listening to them ask everyday if its time to go yet lol.
