Celeb Spotting at Spoodles

Well, she's like a celeb to me.....

We were waiting for our table at Spoodles and a group of women came in. I did a double take on one lady in particular and was wracking my brain to figure out where I knew her from. Then it clicked - it was Deb Wills! I debated whether she would think I was a psycho if I went up to her, but I decided to go for it. I called out her name - in case I was mistaken, and sure enough she turned around. Now for the explaination - "Hi Deb, you don't know me but I am a DISer and love your website, so much info, so helpful"

She was glad to hear that I had found it so helpful and was gracious as I called her an internet celebrity.

So, that is my claim to fame from our recent trip.

She has a nifty website - allears.net (or wdwig.com) with alot of useful Disney info. She also contributes to the Passporter - a useful guidebook, which is where I saw her picture. I just thought it was kinda neat to put a 'real' face to a name.

DH and I saw Drew Carey at FlyingFish over NewYears. He was a little rude to the staff and very loud ... unlike his TV character.... but hey doesn't everyone like to see someone famous up close once and a while???

We were in the cabin next to Deb on the Wonder Cruise in Jan. I recognized her from the pictures on her cabin door. I told my hubby we were sailing with a Disney expert! I was hoping I would run into her so I could tell her how much I liked her website but I never got the chance!
