Ceiling falling down at Poly

[GALLERY=] [/GALLERY]. Ceiling outside of our room in Moorea has been leaking and leaving a puddle since we checked in a few days ago and this morning the ceiling was falling down. There is plaster all over the ground right under it. (I can't post that picture, says it's too big). Went to front desk to tell them about it and hours later it is still there. We have to jump over it every time we go in lol. Guess they don't do a lot of maintenance during the holidays.

Must be from the shower backing up. Unless the sprinkler line is leaking, but a leak that big would set off the fire alarm (flow indicators inside the piping move indicating water flow - alarm goes off).

Unbelievable it made it to that point and that it wouldn't be addressed immediately when you reported it.

One interesting thing about PVB that I noticed in Oct. It was the first DVC room(s) we had without a button for maintenance directly.

When I called Housekeeping from the Beach Club last week, I first received a "press 1 for housekeeping", "press 2 for engineering" automated type message. The lack of a button may be part of an internal Disney reorg.
