For those who have gone.... Is the end of June busy during the week?? I'm trying to pick when we can go during this summer. I think it is either around June 19th or the beginning of August. Any suggestions will be apppreciated. Also any info on the Lazy-J campground? Thanks!

I would suggest June, that time is normally a little slower than in Aug. While most schools are out, people are still dealing with graduation and graduation parties so the park tends to be a little slower. We went last year about the 3rd weekend in June and couldn't believe how slow the park was. In the middle of the afternoon on Sat.there was only about a 30 min. wait for Millinium Force, which typically sees a 1 hr. plus wait. I have season tickets and go several times a year, we also camp, so if you have any questions just ask.


I can't give any suggestions for Lazy J. campground, because we normally stay at Bayshore Estates which is much closer. Bayshore is located about .2 miles past the Cedar Point Causeway, they also provide a shuttle to the park. Here is their web site. http://www.mhdcorp.com/bayshore.html

I agree with June. Sorry I can't help you with the camping. I live about 40 minutes south of CP.

Thanks so much for the fast answers. I will look into the campground listed. I looked at the Cedar Point campground but it was $53-57 a night!! We have never been to the area and are open to any suggestions! Thanks
