We flew from terminal 2 last year. This year it's terminal 3 and I can't find any info about the shops etc there. Can anyone tell me what's there? Thanks. Julie.

Can anyone tell me what's there?

The answer is - not a lot!!!! :teeth: But that's why I love Terminal 3 - it's so small and easy to get through. The only problem is if you are delayed for any length of time, so it might be worth packing a book!!

Anyway - here is a plan of Terminal 3. I'm very grateful to you asking this question, as it alerted me to the fact that one of the airport links was out of date! :thumbsup2

Check-in side of the airport there's a newsagent and a sandwich shop and that's about it.

Air-side, there's a duty free store for alcohol and cigarettes, another separate one for perfumes and cosmetics, a small chocolate store and a fashion boutique that looks really out of place being where it is. There a very small sort of cafe airside as well but it barely offered anything last time we were there - there was more selection from the vending machines!

We got stuck there for three hours due to a delay (and count ourselves lucky, cause originally we were told it'd be four!) and everything closed at 10pm, meaning there was nowhere to get a drink in the airport at all for 2+ hours.

Thanks for your help, I knew someone would have the answer. Julie.

There's also a small childrens play area, it's not much but it does keep the kids entertained.

I like T3 as well, just so quick and easy to get in and out of, none of the delays you find in big terminals.

my advice don't go hungry eat before you get there if poss. or take food with you

The airport is not super great in regards to shops.

I was there four years ago and what is also bad about CDG on returning to your destination is they only allow you to check in an hour before you depart.

We arrived at the airport three hours before thinking we could check in without any problems but this wasn't the case. It might have changed, but never again will we fly to or from Paris.

The Euro-star if travelling from the UK is a must!

On Saturday we arrived at 6:45pm and our check in was from 7:15pm (flight was supposed to leave at 9:15pm) - bit chaotic mind with 7 flights all checking in at 3 open number 10 desks!

I can honestly say I've never known this to be the case - though it has be said I'm not a great one for checking in early!!!

Yes, Eurostar sounds wonderful, and I'd love to have the chance to try it. But, as Reid said, for some of us it's just not convenient. :( For us, at the moment, it would be too big a hassle - I'd rather have to sit for a few hours in a boring terminal!!! :teeth:

I never understood why the Eurostar doesn't extend north. I know you can get extra trains and connect but it's a bit of a bother. It'd be much easier if I could get on a train at Manchester which would take me to Paris without having to change. Surely it must be possible. I'm fed up with easyjet!!!

I was here in May, and it is rather small - however in the alcohol and tobbacco duty free shop there is an absolutely charming man who nearly made me and my mum late for our plane home! Very good conversationalist. But anyway, to summarise - few shops, quite small, but very easy to find your way about in!

and if they could bring it a little bit nearer Wales too, just far enough so I don't have to drive on the M25 I'd be happy :)

Love Eurostar  - hate the M25 :scared:
