My DH and I were looking around the CD sites yesterday for some easy offers to do and this one looked like a good one. Essentially, you pay for a subscription service for $6.99/month and can buy a CD with that money. (Or so I understand...) You can cancel online at any time. We thought they would charge the $6.99, we could order my CD, and that would be it.

Anyhow, they charged $16 to the CC account.:headache: We don't remember anything in the terms that stated they would charge this amount. Then when we tried to get the one CD for the $6.99, they tried charging another $21.99 to the account. I checked the account again this morning and they tried charging another $21.99 to the account. :headache:

Does anyone have any experience with this company? I know they are a division of BMG. The only way I can find on the website to contact them is via e-mail and after two e-mails, we have received no response yet.:sad2:

The payout on this is good ($16) and there is a CD I'd really like to get, but I'm not sure it's worth the frustration of having them charge the account for more than what was stated and then waiting for someone to e-mail us back as to why.:sad2:

We have been members of Yourmusic for around a year or so. I joined through MP. We have never had any trouble with them at all, and have loved the service. We only have ever gotten charged the price per month, or the price of whatever else we have bought, and have considered it a great deal. I'm sorry you are having difficulty!

I did this one and haven't been charged yet. My total is $7.43 (with tax). And the CD has shipped. DId you get a notice that your cd shiipped?

HMM...I haven't checked on that one yet, I had a hard time finding CDs that I wanted. Are you sure that you aren't ordering like double disks or anything, I know they charge more for that.

I signed up yesterday but my order is not posted in my credit card account yet. It says under order history 6.99 but cd has not not shipped. Hopefully you will hear back from them soon.

Thanks everyone for your replies.:goodvibes

Does anyone have a phone number for this company? We have sent a couple of e-mails to customer service and have gotten no response.

My DH insisted on cancelling the subscription this morning. No credit on the credit card yet, no idea why the $16 charge is there in the first place, and no idea why they tried charging the card for $21.99 yesterday and today. :confused3

privacy matters charged $16 to my cc when it was supposed to only be $1, did you do that one? like the others mentioned they may not have charged your cc yet for the cd and it could be something else...just a thought ;)

You know... I did see a discussion about the $16 charge thing, but they (Your Music) also tried charging $21.99 to my credit card account twice...Once yesterday and once today. I still have not heard anything from customer service.:sad2:

I haven't done Privacy Matters yet. Thanks for letting me know about that.:goodvibes

I just briefly looked on the site and couldn't find a phone number just the customer service form.

Is there a phone number by the charge on the credit card?? If not you could try calling the credit card company and they might have a number for you to call regarding the charge. That happened to me before and I was able to call the credit card company and get the 800 number with the charge.

I checked the CC statement and there is only an e-mail address listed; not a phone number. Thanks!:goodvibes
