CD: Video Professor Scam?

A couple of days ago, I did the $6.95 (for shipping) free trial for Video Professor on Cash Duck. Stupid me, I was in a hurry and didn't read the "terms and conditions". Usually I do. I also used my credit card, which I have never done before for an offer. My thinking was that this company must be legit because I have seen this on TV.

Yesterday, I found a website that says this offer is a scam. They actually send you 3 videos and charge you 69.95. The videos are packaged together to seem like they are what you ordered.

Has anyone had experience with this offer? Can someone tell me what the terms and conditions are? I feel like such a total idiot.

I belive the charge is only if you keep the cds....if you return 2 of them there is no charge, and if you return all of them, they refund your 6.95 shipping charge...at least those were the terms for sunshinerewards.

I did this offer and it was really easy and not a scam at all. You call them tell them you would like to cancel, then tell them you would like to send the cds back to get a refund on shipping and get a RMA number without that number they will not take your return, then just write the number on your envelope (I just put my in a standard greeting card envelope with a stamp) make sure you ask how many cds they need to process your return for me it was just one. Then once they get those they will send you a card in the mail saying they have refunded your shipping charges.

As long as you cancel by your free trial deadline you will not be charged.

I did what AZGAL81 did, but I haven't seen my card refunded yet, I am not going to hold my breath on that. Though the payout was still good.

Just wanted to add that you can also go to videoprofessor.com and go to the Contact Us page to cancel. I did that yesterday and received the return authorization number in my email this morning. :
