cd favors...

Even though I'm not all that crafty, I've decided I might be up to the task of some DIY cd favors for the wedding
I pretty much have a list of a dozen or so songs (Disney, of course ), but I've never made CD labels before and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good, easy, and affordable program and/or type of labels to use??? I would like to put our names and the wedding date and also some sort of Disney embellishment (little Mickey heads, a groom Mickey & bride Minnie, or something....)
HELP!?!?!?
Has anyone else done this before????
Any ideas, suggestions, tips would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

We did CD favours for our wedding and just used software already installed on our PC called windows CD label maker. It was really easy i just created a picture file and put that as the background and added a title and sub title as Our names and the date! Took no time at all! I picked up the labels from a local crafts store!

For the CD labelling program, we bought a kit from best buy that came with a CD and a little cd "stamp" thing that helps to apply the label to the cd without any air bubbles underneath. For the CD holders, we bought a kit from Michael's arts and crafts that came with 50 cardboard CD holders and some more labels and things. I made more labels with the track list and put them on the flap on the CD holder.. here are some pics

we bought the Epson printer that prints directly onto cd's/dvd's (you have to buy the special, printable cd's/dvd's, though). they came out great!

Mary626....Marywdw.....hmmm.... It's so funny that you should reply to my post b/c I was reading your TR last night - so far, it's great by the way! I'd only gotten to page 5 or so when my computer froze up and I took it as a sign that I should get to bed!!!!
Love your cd's! I was planning on a trip to Michael's today, so I'll see what they've got! I found a pic of Mickey & Minnie holding hands that I'd like to throw on there.....this is, of course, if I can figure how to work it!!!!!

Hey guys I am looking for some disney clip art to use on a cd favor that I am going to be giving out for our wedding guest.. I would like to know if any one has the clip art to the mickey and minnie mouse stick figures that Mary626 used on there cd.. Any help would be great.. Please email at (mixituponline@comcast.net)... we are going to do cd favors as well...my fiance is a dj and owns a nightclub...he originally wanted to have a vinyl record (the old fashioned kind that only dj's can get now...) pressed for our favors, but i had to gently remind him that he's probably the only person who'll be at our wedding that actually has turn tables that work...he's so silly. what songs are you all going to put on your cd's?
