Do you think the studio issue at CCV would lead to WL being a contender down the line for conversion to DVC?

They would be stuck in the legacy chart, like CCV was, so I doubt it.

Do you think the studio issue at CCV would lead to WL being a contender down the line for conversion to DVC?

I wonder if there would be any way to balance out the imbalance of cabin points.

I'd be surprised if WDW would ever 100% convert a hotel unless it was really not booking for them. However it probably would be a contender if they did. One thing that would be less appealing in making it a choice is that the studios/1BR's & 2BR's have a low point chart and based on the trends the last decade I'd believe that DVC really wants to sell with an overall higher point chart than what the earlier resorts had and that CCV followed with VWL. They wouldn't be adding cabins with any new conversion which balanced out against the other villas lower charts for DVC sales but created this point issue for owners.

Great point. I was not even thinking about the point chart!
