CC Stingray Excursion

I wanted to book the CC stingray excursion for our cruise but there are no ressies left. What are my chances of being able to snag a spot onboard?

DCL only puts so many spots online. My suggestion is once you board have someone in your party go to shore excursion desk to reserve your spots. This excursion does go fast so try to reserve it on your first day on board. We had a great time playing with the stingrays.

I called Disney this AM trying to get some info on booking this for our group of 12. The DCL rep suggested checking every day for cancellations, and if there are none, check when you get onboard.

We booked our the day before we pulled into CC. SO I wold think you stand a good chance.

I have been trying to book the CC Stingray Adventure online for the last month or so. I checked everyday and there was never availability.......... until today. So I just booked for our second CC day (we're on the May 27th Double Dip). I wonder if they release more times online as the cruise date approaches. Also today, availablity appeared for Palo High Tea.

So keep checking online and if you aren't successful before you cruise, hit the excursion desk ASAP after you board. Good luck.

I was able to get ressies today. New question - DS is too young to do this excursion...can he and my DH watch close by?

yes, observers can observe from very close by -- the feeding stations are only about 30 feet from the edge of the water (depth was below my waist). I don't recall if they charge for observers -- you'll get to see the stingrays swimming around and hear all the instructions, just won't actually be able to feed

Thanks, our 2 yo is coming along and is too young to participate so DH and I will be taking turns.
