CC phone number

I noticed that one of the perks DCL lists for Castaway Club members is having a dedicated phone number. It says you can call that number for reservations, assistance and info. Does it really make a difference? Do you get better access to staterooms? Shorter wait time on hold? The last time I called DVA to make a payment, I was on hold for nearly 50 minutes. Should I have called CC's number instead for a shorter wait? What all and exactly do they do anyway?

I've always been talking to a CM within 5 minutes when I've called the CC phone number. When you call in they ask for your CC member number first thing so by the time you speak with a CM they generally have your history on their screen so it saves some time when you first speak with someone. My experience with them has always been very good.

That's good to know. So do they just handle everything the general DCL number does, but just for CC members? I don't suppose you know if they would work with DVA as payments, do you?

I have no clue about a DVA with them but yes they do everything the main number does just with a little more personalized service.
