I have used the port parking previously. But was interested in the private parking options like parkcruise or parkportcanaveral. Anybody have experiences with either of these?

We did parkportcanaveral once. It was a pretty horrible experience. Never again offsite. If I can't park at the port terminal I'm just not going. The end.

On my cruises I have had people complain to me about lack of shuttles and priority to the Carnival ships.

We used parkportcanaveral last time and did not have any issues at all. Driver was friendly, they were very helpful with loading the bags. We are looking at parking at the port this time due to the 40% off coupon for staying at the hotel the night before. Also with it being in the parking garage, maybe it will be a little cooler rather than sitting directly in the sun.

OP, Your title "CC Parking"
How are you getting your car to Castaway Cay? Unless you have one of those drivable cars at DTD (DS) Boathouse that float on the water.

I don't think the onboard entertainmet can compare between a boathouse car and DCL. But if there is a super secret club (Club 98) like in DLR (Club 33) where I can drive to CC, then I guess it's time to sell the kids! :rotfl2: .

I thought maybe they were bringing a smart car on board and wanted to park at the Cove Cafe (CC) for a cappuccino ?.. I crack myself up...

If you are planning on staying the night before close by, choose one of the hotels that offer the 40% discount. We did this a few weeks ago and had no problems. Parked in the garage. Go to the port Canaveral web site and you will find a listing on there somewhere of all the hotels that offer the discount. We stayed at the Best Western in Cocoa Beach.

I've parked here for our last 10 cruises or so from PC http://www.parkcruise.com

Every time has been smooth, friendly, cheap and fast. I will never, ever pay the port parking rates after finding that company. The last few times I've gone they've had shuttles specifically for different ships and Disney always seemed to be loading first. Could have just been our timing.

They used to take your keys, although the last few times they had you park and keep them.

We just used parkcruise last month - no issues AT ALL and we paid half what they want at port. I'd rather spend the money elsewhere!

Thanks everyone. Sounds like parkcruise is the better option. We are driving in that day and just hated the idea of spending all that money on port parking.
