CC needed to make adr?

I have only used the ddp on previous trips, so that has always shown when I made my adr. Unfortunatly, this trip we are going as a sports tournament and cannot add the ddp, so my question is, do I need my credit card to book thinkgs like Chef Mickeys and the Fantasmic pkg? If so, do I have to pay in full or is it a hold?

Only a few require a credit card and a few things are pay in advance and the others are just holds.

Chef Mickey's - no CC hold
Fantasmic package - CC hold, but not prepaid from what I recall

I know that California Grill, Victoria & Alberts, Cinderella's Royal Table (Breakfast only) require a credit card when making an ADR at those locations.

Any meal at CRT, not just breakfast... and because it is a set meal price, your credit card will be charged automatically.

You also need a credit card to book at Akershus but it is only a hold, they will not charge you until your actual meal.

However, for the restaurants or packages that require a cc as a hold, you will be charged a no-show fee if you don't show up for your reservation or don't cancel within a specified timeframe.

THank you all for this information! I never thought that you would need a cc hold or automatic charge when making certian reservations. That is great to know when we plan our meals!

Booked Bibbity Bobity Boo Botique and that was a "Hold".....but when we reserved wishes desert party (event) it was charged already, CRT also already charged full price.

Le Cellier, Chief Mickey's, Cape May, Coral Reef, 1900 Park Fare all did not charge or require a CC at all.
