Hey everyone! My DH and I will be sailing on the Wonder in October. Has anyone ever bought their own snorkeling equipment to use at CC? I see it costs 25 dollars to snorkel there get and we know we can't find it cheaper since there are no locals waiting for us....as is the case as the other islands. If you did bring your own equipment, did you still have to pay a small fee? Please advise! Thank you in advance for your help! :wizard:

Yes, you can bring your own snorkel gear to use on CC :) We did, and there is no problem with it, and no charge, but you still have to walk over to the little shack they have near the beach to get a life vest to wear. They insist on this, no matter who's snorkeling gear you are using. There is no charge to get a life vest to use. They don't make you strap it all up, but they want to see it on you, while you are snorkeling!

Hope this helps! :)

Awesome, we were also wanting to bring our own snorkel equipment. We thought it was a lot of money to spend when you have your own stuff sitting at home. We heard about the vests though and that they were a requirement. Good to know you can use those with your own equipment at no extra charge.

Thanks

We bring our own gear on every cruise and it has not been a problem at all (excursions, etc.). If they require you to wear a vest, they happily provide it free of charge. :flower:
