The benefits are a separate check-in line. Which some have reported may not be faster than regular check-in depending on time of day or length of line. You get gifts in your cabin and a CC Club member party onboard. I wish they offered a discount or something, but none of that right now.
Once you have cruised once you are a member, you may just have to call and get your #. I never received a card either. You do get a gift in your room, and the party on board that is nice. I asked them at the port about the members use to get to board first and they said that there are usually more members than first time guests so it really doesn't help... so they don't do that anymore... I can't wait til my 5th Disney Cruise!!! I love it !!!!
Talking about the party. We truly enjoyed it in 2004. Which day is the private party for CC members on a 3 day and which day on a four day? Does anyone know?
I think you get a discount by being a CC member when booking. I am not sure of that though.
I know it was before we "left" castaway cay. I know we always had to run from the party to the Kid's club show to see DD which I want to say was at 5. 7pm ressies at Palo's won't be a prob.
We didn't recieve our card 'till after our 3rd sailing....but our gift was in our rooms. The only need for the #is if you book thru DCLs web site or a TA.
You will need your CC number to make your reservations online for the spa, Palo, or the kid's clubs. It will let you do this earlier than first time cruisers too. FINALLY! A benefit to the CC.
When you book with a travel agent, will they also process your CC Club number? Also, are you only able to make reservations online if you book your cruise directly through DCL, or can you do it if you book through a TA?
