CC charges for CRT and HDDR

Hi,

We are going to be trying to book CRT and HDDR very soon for our upcoming trip and I am seeing conflicting info about CC guarantees for these two ressies. If we are on the DxDP do we have to pay for the ressies in full at booking or just use the CC to hold the ressie and it gets charged only if we cancel outside of the cancellation policy?

If anyone has recently booked either of these could you please tell us your experience, we are confused by all the different info out there! Thank You!!!

My experience with making a CRT reservation online was my CC was charged in full. I called in the morning and asked about this and they had to cancel my reservation to get me a refund and then make me a new reservation. Lucky for me there was one available!

I told the CM I had all my info plugged in properly online and the reservations were attached to my resort ressies, but she said the online system had no way of recognizing that we were on the DDP.

So I would suggest making the reservations online if they are high priority for you and then calling and getting it all squared away. I made my reservations at 2 a.m. CST and called at 6.
