CBS (NCAA tourney) available at DVC resorts?

This question is actually from my husband, who has just noticed that we will be at Kidani during the NCAA basketball tournament. He seems to think that the tvs on Disney property do not carry CBS, so he won't be able to watch the tournament. Is that true? If so, is there somewhere close that he can watch it? We will have a car.

All broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, WB, CW, etc) are carried on Disney TVs. The are from the the local Orlando stations.

The WDW TV stations include all major networks, CBS included, plus many cable channels. While they have always carried the major networks, they recently upgraded the system to carry many more cable channels than they previously did.

Thanks!! That's what I thought, but he was insisting that Disney only carried ABC of the "big 3". He will be relieved (at least until he realizes that we won't be in the villa to watch them anyway)

Yes they will show it. I think there are 3 or 4 tvs at Pool Bar. Also the bar at Sanaa downstairs. Jambo's Victoria Falls is a little larger than Sanaa. Another place to check out the games is the ESPN Zone at Boardwalk. I am sure it will be crowded so get there early.

The resorts look to carry 3 of the 4 channels that will show the games. CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV will carry the games. The resorts do not carry TruTV so hopefully the game that he wants to watch will not be on that channel.

Also you can get the March Madness app on both Android and Apple if not by a television. Not sure how well it will work with Disney's Wi-fi, but it is worth a try. Now whether you share this with him or not is the question. I know from experience that being down at WDW during football season, that he could easily get in trouble with his face in the phone while other things are going on.
