Who watched any or all of it last night?

Big Bang Theory - Thumbs Up as always. Very funny and clever.

How I Met Your Mother - Thumbs Down. I must be missing something with this show. I don't think it's funny at all.

Two and Half Men - Thumbs Up. I don't know why we don't watch this show more often. Whenever we do, we always think it's funny.

Worst Week - Thumbs Up. I always worry about comedies not filmed in front of an audience. A laugh track certainly seems to make it funnier. This show was very funny without it though. Not sure how long they can stretch it out, but for now, we'll watch it as it was very good.

I normally don't watch sitcoms but 2 and a Half Men is funny.
Now I didn't see it and probably won't (due to Heroes) until I get into my house and have my DVR back.:thumbsup2

The writers for that show are damn good with the punchlines. The delievery of the cast is on the spot.
Certainly it is a show to put on your list as "must see TV".:thumbsup2

I actually thought worst week was pretty funny! We'll see how it goes, but I liked it. As for Two and a Half men...last year was the funniest season. Last nights episode was good, but I guess I was expecting more.

HIMYM did seem to be getting off to a slow start last ngiht. I think if you haven't watched the previous seasons, you would have missed what was funny.

BBT was better than ever.

Yay, TV!

I only watched the first two and enjoyed them both. That Sheldon on BBT makes me laugh. That actor is perfect playing him:lmao:

How I Met Your Mother - Thumbs Down. I must be missing something with this show. I don't think it's funny at all. I usually like this show, but last nights was a dud. You think they would want to open the season with a great one. Oh well.
Two and Half Men - Thumbs Up. I don't know why we don't watch this show more often. Whenever we do, we always think it's funny. Love, Love, Love this show! Very funny!

comments in red above. Monday nights is usually a CBS night for me. DH DVR's Heroes.

I only saw the first 3, I fell sleep before Worst Week. DH hated Worst Week so I guess we will wait and see on that one.

I really enjoyed the other 3. I agree that if you didn't see HIMYM last year, you would really be lost this year.

The only one I like is How I Met Your Mother. One of the best sitcoms in a long long time!!!

Tried to watch The Big Bang Theory for the first time last night but only lasted 10 minutes. It was just painful.

I hate Two and a Half Men. It's just wayyyyyy too sleazy for me.

Thank goodness for Heroes being back!

I only go to see the 1st part of HIMYM. (DD's Monday night soccer practice that ends at 9:00 better be coming to an end itself soon!!)

Did Stella (I think that's her name) like Star Wars? The last thing I saw was her going to get a beer and dismissing the writing at the 1st of the movie.

BBT was pretty good, I usually enjoy HIMYM, I LOVE 2&1/2 Men, and Worst Week was just o.k., I thought. It did give me a good laugh at the end when he brought the father into the house and the mom realized he wasn't dead.

I'd agree with that. I was looking forward to Worst Week, but got about 5 minutes in and decided that a book sounded better. Maybe it got better after the first 5 minutes, but the part I saw was pretty much standard sitcom stuff and I was bored.

It got much better. Best laughs I had all night was at the end of the show.

I agree BBT was great. I love that show.
How I met your mother- never was a big fan, but DH likes to watch it so I watch it with him.

Now, Two and a half men- Yes, I try to never miss that one. I really like that one. It was so funny last night.

Worst week- never watched- most likely never will.

BBT we didn't think we would like but gave it a chance last season and loved it. How awesome would it be to play Sheldon's character and say whatever you want with no conciense? lol

HIMYM is one of our favorite shows. We love it. Last night was not the best, but not the worst, and if you are a devoted HIMYM fan who has seen all of the previous episodes at least more than once (on DVD maybe) then there were parts that were funny that might not have been to casual watchers.

Didn't watch 2.5M last night, but generally is quite funny in spite of its sleeziness.

Have no desire to watch Worst Week. The previews have done absolutely nothing for us. I generally don't enjoy TV shows built around humiliation. I just feel sorry for the people - not funny.
