CBS Cancels Shows!/New Fall Line Up on Post#47

I will give "Crap my Dad Says" a try (will tape it - "30 Rock" is moving to that time, I believe) , but other than that there is nothing that I watch. I had no idea I watched so little on CBS! Gave up on "Medium" a season or two ago.

:)

Survivor and TAR are the only things I watch on CBS and I think I might add Crap My Dad Says. The time change means nothing to me because I just DVR things I want to see.

I guess I'd have liked them to move TAR because some sports things get in the way but no biggie, that's what the internet is for.

Boo. I love Cold Case. It's the perfect follow-up for Amazing Race. I am usually all hyped up after AR and CC would chill me right out...but in a good way. I will miss Lil.

I think it is a big mistake to move Big Bang Theory away from Two and a Half Men. I don't think Two can last much longer alone. We used to love it, but now we just watch it because it is sometimes funny and is on right before BBT.

I was never into Two and a Half Men. I only really saw it at my sister's. Mom will be disappointed about Ghost Whisperer and Cold Case. Which she was as I just told her....

I think moving Big Bang Theory is good as I can actually watch it that night like I used to when it was on earlier on Mondays. It won't compete with football in the fall either; I don't get NFL Network so I don't bother about the Thurs games later on.

::yes:: Never underestimate the Shatner. :thumbsup2

Who would have thought Denny Crane would have won 2 Emmy awards (+ 4 nominations, 1 Golden Globe win + 1 GG nominations,) for that role. :woohoo:

And I couldn't stand him in that show. I watched one episode and that was IT.

I'm hearing rumors that the CW is considering picking up GW. Alsoo hearing that ABC is thinking of grabbing Old Christine.
I reported earlier that the producers of Ghost Whisperer reported that their efforts to get their show picked-up by another network had failed. Word came down yesterday from the producers of Old Christine have met with the same result; Old Christine will not be picked up by another network.

I am miss Miami Medical. I love there show.

Has anyone here ever watched The Good Wife? I've wondered about that show. I'm told that The Mentalist is good too.

My wife and I watch both.

The Mentalist is super. It is basically just a vehicle to showcase Simon Baker, and he's simply excellent, as a former "psychic" who now campaign against such charlatanism, and applies his skills of observation and detection, that served him so well when he was a charlatan, toward solving complex crimes.

The Good Wife is also very good. It is also mostly a star vehicle, showcasing Juliana Margolies, but some of the other actors in the show are as good as she is, and so it has more of an ensemble feel. Margolies plays the wife of a man who was state's attorney and was caught in a sex scandal. Disgraced, he was convicted and jailed, and she was forced to dust off her hardly used law degree and become a junior associate at a college friend's law firm.

The Mentalist can probably be picked up at any time, from anywhere, while The Good Wife really should be watched from the beginning and in order.
