Cbr!!!!!!!

Honest to God, we stayed at the CBR way back in 1996 for a total of 10 ,count em 10 nights. This was our very 1st trip to WDW with my family and it was the VERY begining of the 25th Anniversary Celebration. My how knowledge about visiting the WORLD has changed things!!!! LOL!!!!!! We didn't have a car and relied soly on WDW transportation. I SWEAR that this wouldn'thappen again if we returned and honestly to this DAY it still hasn't!!!!! Now after having said all that what do you the poster's like or for that matter don't like about the CBR.? We stayed in Aruba #51 during our stay. Just curious, Chip.

We stayed at the CBR in May and had a wonderful time. We did not rent a car and took the bus everywhere. The bus was great! Only once we had a long wait and that was for a bus to Downtown Disney, every other time we took the bus it was a short wait.

We paid extra to stay in a preferred location and I would do it again. Very close to OPR and the main pool. We did the dinning plan so we hardly ate at CBR. When we did eat at CBR it was mainly counter service meals. The food was good and the place was very clean. My family and I had a great experience at CBR.

I think this will always be one of our favorite resorts. Every seemed to complain about the walking, but we LOVEd strolling through the grounds. We took walks often !! We were there for 10 nights as well and would go back in a heartbeat. We had our own rental car as well.

i am a little on the impatient side so I hate to wait in line for a bus only to smooshed. We always rent a car and wouldn't have it any other way !

Howdy from Oklahoma and wishing all lots of magic pixie dust !! My family and I ( there are 11 of us ) are all planning a huge trip to Disney ! we are staying from Nov. 29 till Dec. 10 !!! wooo hoooo and we are staying at CBR for the first time too !!!! I can't hardly wait !! I am sure that it is just as wonderful as all the other places we have stayed ....

We stayed at CBR on our very first Disney Trip 13 years ago. We stayed in Martinique that time and we absolutely loved CBR. We have been going yearly since and have stayed at many of the resorts. When we went this summer ( July ) we stayed for three weeks and we went back to the CBR. I was hoping it would be as great as I remembered. It WAS. This time we stayed in Jamaica as I couldnt see spending the extra money for a prefered location. Jamaica was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. We were the second bldg over from the foot bridge. We were right next to the pool and beach area and the grounds are just beautiful. I would def. recommend Jamaica. The walk is not very long ( honestly). Less then 5 mins at a very relaxing "Disney Pace" as my hubby calls it. You could get there in less time if you walked faster. Also you can stop on the bridge and feed the turtles, ducks. It was great. All my boys enjoyed themselves. The great thing about CBR is not only do you feel the "disney magic" of staying in a disney resort but you also feel like you are on a tropical island. Its the best of both worlds. We are planning on going again this summer and we will DEF be returning to CBR. We had planned on doing the Poly but after spending three glorious weeks at CBR I have lost all interest in trying the Poly. Dont get me wrong Poly looks beautiful as well but there is something about CBR that "got me". The only downfall I would say there is...is that the main pool really is too small for the size of the resort. It never bothered us however because each "island" has their own pool and we used our pool most of the time. If however you are stuck on using the main themed pool I would get there early as it tends to get quite crowded. Hmmmm... did I mention that I just LOVE CBR?
