Hey,
I got a question about CBR we will be in WDW July 13 for 5 nights and six days. We let the kids pick which resort they wanted to stay at. They are ages 12 & 10 & 1. But I have heard that we my not like to stay there beacuse the resort is so big and it will take awhile to get to the food court and pool and bus stop. Plus they said that the bus is all ways full at CBR. Is this true and do you think we would like another resort better. PLEASE help I am going crazy thinking about it way to much.

What is your budget range for your trip? Value/Mod/Deluxe?

thanks
Jason

I think you don't need to worry too much about it. CBR has been a very popular resort and I was going to stay there last October, but it was closed for renovation. Regarding buses, if it is full, you will be able to catch another one in 15 mintues or less. You will more than likely to experience the same problems in other resorts.

Anyways, i will bump it up for you and hopefully someone else will give you more answers.

Just back from CBR! LOVED IT!!! YEs, it's big! but depending on what island you stay at is how far you have to go to the food court. They also have an internal bus that will take you around and you see buses I swear every 3-5 min or so! One morning we had all 4 busses out there at 8:00am! My DS's are 12 and 5 and they LOVED the arcade and we enjoyed the hot tub and pool bar;) we will definately go back! If you don't like it once you are there (which I doubt, it is beautiful) you can always switch! The CM's there went above and beyond for us for EVERYTHING!!!!! Good luck and stay calm!!!

You will love the CBR. We have stayed there many, many times and always cnsider it our #1 favorite resort, even though we have stayed at the BWI, AKL and Poly. Ask for a room near the OPR (there is a CBR thread that is helpful). We have always had tremendous luck with the bus system. But some people will complain about the buses when they have been standing there for only five minutes. You will find full buses going to and from any of the resorts (the worst was the Poly) at peak times. Having a car there can really help as it is only a few minutes drive to both the Boardwalk and the Marketplace. We love to take long walks around the CBR grounds as it is so beautiful. Sunsets over the lake are gorgeous and some of our favorite times have been sitting out by the Banana Cabana in the evening. The kids will love the pools and OPR has a very festive feel about it. The food court is decent, just what you'd expect from a food court. We usually plan to have our meals inside the parks but sometimes grab a quick bite at the food court and it is not bad at all. While I am sure there have been some legitimate complaints over time, I am constantly amazed at the carping that goes on when people are on vacation. Not to mention how mean they can be to their kids and each other at the happiest place on earth. Bring a smile with you and pass it around. Have a great time.

We love the CBR! The theming is great and the scenery is beautiful. It is a relaxing resort because the path are pretty to walk along and there are hammocks at the beaches to relax on. There are pools in each island aside from the main pool along with a large foodcourt, playground and a great arcade. Our favorite section or island to stay in is Martinique because it is close to Old Port Royale.

We have stayed at CBR several times and it is a great resort. My oldest was 1 on one of our vacations and he loved it there. He loved playing in the sand in the beach areas and on the playground equipment. He also liked the kiddie pool. I too suggest Martinique because of its proximity to Old Port Royale. However, we have stayed in South Trinidad which is probably the furthest away from Old Port Royale and liked it too. Have fun and don't worry.
