I have stayed at CBR a few times, but this has never come up. Is there a walkway that an ECV can take from the custom house to Old Port Royal that is safe. Is there a sidewalk?

Yes, you can go from the Custom House to OPR via sidewalks. You will have to cross Sea Breeze Drive, but there is a crosswalk there.

You're welcome. It should be about a 8 -10 minute walk. Another option is to take the internal shuttle. The map should give you an idea of how far a walk it is.

I looked at that map before I even posted the question, but I did not see the custom house on the map. For some reason I thought it was in front of OPR. I looked again, and moved the map over and there it was. So I think it will work. This is a newbie to Disney and and ECV, so we are going to have to do some training before we hit the parks. I thought this might help her get the feel of the ECV. I am not sure how the bus thing will work. I will probably put it on the bus for her. She can walk just not for long periods of time, so walking to the rides and getting on a bus should be no problem. Thanks for your help.

No need, the driver will lower the ramp and she will drive the ECV on the bus. The driver will then help secure the ECV. Should be no problem.
