They are both great resorts with beautiful grounds and great theming. I would choose POR, mainly because of the resort layout. The CBR is HUGE--it is the only resort with its own inter-resort bus service. If you get stuck in one of the remote buildings, it can take forever just to get a coke or a snack at the food court.

Other than that, I think they are pretty much the same. I would give a slight edge to the CBR food court, and also a slight edge to CBR bus service, but POR has the boat service to Downtown Disney, which is great.

I would go with POR I think the grounds are a lot nicer and I like the food better.. they have a Bakery... and I think the people are nicer

I have done both, and both are the exact same, but different.


The rooms are the exact same. You get nothing in one that you dont get in the other.

The difference is in the resort layout. POR is a smaller grouping of buildings. You can walk to anywhere including the pool in under 5 minutes. plus the boat ride to DTD is a feature not to be underestimated.

CRB, is nice that you can be in an out laying building and have access to a quiet pool. Not as stressfull and many times you can have the area all to your self.

If you want quiet and relaxing do CRB.

If you want more interation with people and DTD pick POR.

Haven't stayed at POR b/c for us, the theme just isn't our cup of tea so I cant comment on it but I can say we love CBR and really enjoyed our stay there.

I'd go with POR. It's a lovely resort, the grounds are so pretty! Just make sure not to stay in the mansions...to far of a walk for me.

We have stayed at both and much prefer CBR. We liked CBR's themeing, pools, and beach areas. We, also, thought CBR has a better food court and better bus service. POR has the boat to Downtown Disney which was really nice. We're going in June and staying at CBR. CBR is our favorite!
