Reading all the posts here, CBR became my choice for the first 4 days of my disney visit for a moderate ( POLY last 4 days). When I spoke to my AAA travel agent, he has gone every yesr for the last 20 years, with no hesitation he said the CSR would be his choice hands down. Not that there is anything wrong with the other places, he just like it better for his reasons. He said the water slide and pool for our 8 year old is nicer in his opinion, along with other things. I was ready to book the CBR, now I'm hesitating, over that or the CSR.

ANY OPINIONS? pirate:

DH and I love CBR. The rooms are the biggest of any moderate and the grounds are beautiful! I prefer the tropical theming over CSR's. We really enjoyed our stay there.

However, I also want to stay at CSR sometime - mainly because of the pool. I tried to book it for our spring break trip but couldn't get an AP rate.

You can't go wrong with either one. Have a great trip!

Caribbean Beach has a more tropical feel all around and is fun and the rooms are a bit larger. The pool is imaginative and fun.
The pool at CSR is bigger and the slide much longer. The whole pool area is more impressive. The resort is beautiful as well. The rooms are a bit smaller and there is only one sink in the vanity area.
Both places are wonderful. Choose the one that appeals to you most.

CSR is a great resort. Check out my CSR website below for pics, links and info

I took my DS when he was 10 years old(a year and a half ago) at the time he LOVED CBR. We just booked at CSR for 6 nights and the Poly for three. Why? because looking back on our trip my DS realises how small the pool at CBR is and the slide is only about 15 feet long. The slide at CSR is 123 ft. (I just read that in a travel book at the bookstore) The lines for the short slide at CBR were pretty much always quite long. The pool was pretty crowded most of the time also . Hope this helps but of course this was just our experience others probably have not noticed anything wrong at all. Whatever you decide go into it with an open mind(which is what Im trying to do with my requests) and no one will be dissappointed. Mimimom :earsboy: :earsboy:

This may sound silly, but I'm glad that I know which place has the bigger slide and pool area being we would like to spend some time there. Our son was 4 years old when we were at the POFR and he has out grown the dragon slide by now!..LOL.

I personally like Coronado better than the Caribbean. Its newer, the food court is awesome, the themeing is awesome, the grounds are pretty and the pool is phenomonal!
