I'm weighing resort options for our 2017 trip and was wondering between CBR and CSR which one was preferred by those who have stayed at then and why. I've stayed at both but was a kid so obviously everything to me was awesome. Lol.

My choice would be CBR. We've never stayed at CSR as the theme/decor doesn't appeal to us, but we loved everything about CBR. The grounds were beautiful, the food court had a lot of variety, the pool was nice (each "village" also has it's own quiet pool), and the transportation was quick and efficient. We have tried other resorts since our CBR stay, but we wouldn't hesitate to return to CBR as we had a great time and loved the resort.

I really loved both of them. I would give a slight edge to CSR for location. It's easier and quicker to get around WDW from CSR because you don't always have to go on Buena Vista Drive, which can get very busy and slow, with a lot of stoplights.

We have stayed at both and all like CSR more. We liked the food court better at CBR and the ability to have the little pull down beds there. However, we liked the theming, pool, and buses at CSR.

I have stayed at CBR and loved it. If CBR still had double beds CSR would be the real winner. CSR has the sliding door for privacy in the dressing area so it gives it more of an edge for my family now. CSR was on our list for our last trip. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at CBR but right now I would choose CSR if given the choice.

I have stayed at both, and I prefer CBR by leaps and bounds.
The theming.
The location is more towards the center of WDW, making travel times a little better.
I personally found CBR to be a lot cleaner.
I like the pool/food court better.
The rooms were refurbished back in 2014, and now include the sliding door separating the bathroom area from the rest of the room for extra privacy.

We've stayed at CBR three times and CSR once. We stayed at CSR last month and it was fine, but we prefer CBR by far. CSR has a great location though.

I've stayed at both, and think CSR is much much nicer. I like the food court better, the bus service is leaps and bounds better, and I like that CSR has only 4 bus stops compared to the 7 at CBR. The whole theming at CSR feels more upscale than that at CBR, imho.

My choice would be business class at CSR. We love this resort. Great transportation and an awesome main pool area.

CBR does now, too. Plus, they have double sinks, which CSR does not.

That said, I prefer CSR. I loved CBR when we stayed there, but the location, transportation, pool, and layout of CSR top CBR, IMO.

I didn't know that. Awesome! We really loved CBR and stayed there twice but something about CSR makes me want to try it out.

CSR is our favorite resort! We stayed at CBR for the first time last year, after 5 straight stays at CSR. We ended up really missing Coronado, so it was back to CSR this year :)

:wizard: We have stayed at both and honestly, both are beautiful resorts. Of the two, though, CBR wins for us. It has beautiful grounds and is so peaceful and relaxing. Our main issue with CSR is that it is a convention center. It can get noisy and crowded even at the quiet pools. Our not so magical experience the last time we stayed there (2 summers ago) was that a large group of interns took over the building we were in and we were basically up all night with yelling, running back and forth and doors slamming. We let the front desk know in the morning and they really didn't seem to care. They comped us 2 anytime FP+ that didn't work in the parks. We were doing a split stay and were leaving that day for POR so for us it was just an annoyance, but we wanted to let them know not to put any families with small children in that building. If you choose CSR I would check the convention schedule and make sure you aren't in a building that the large groups are going to be in.

We love CBR! Stayed there the last five years! Our fave thing about this resort are the smaller pools at each "house". When we go in August there are maybe four or five people in the pool if that, everyone else migrates to the main pool! If pool time isn't important to you then I'm sure either would be a great choice! :)

I've only ever stayed at CBR and we really enjoyed it. I think there will always be a friendly competition between the fans of these two resorts! Both of them definitely have their followings!
