CBR Room Location Help Please

My husband and I are scheduled to arrive at the Carribean Beach Resort on May 6th to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I know that there are no guarantees, but I would like to put in a room request. I would appreciate any advice from any of you who have stayed and have suggestions, I have already booked a king bed room. This will be our first stay at the CBR, have always stayed at the poly before so your advice is greatly appreciated

I would suggest Jamaica or Aruba. It is a short walk across the bridge to Old Port Royale the food court.

On our honeymoon we stayed on trinidad north, in a corner room with a king bed. I can't remember the exact room number, but we were very close to old port royale-- it is a preferred section. Maritinique is the other preferred area in this resort. I would highly recommend paying the extra for preferred, as the resort is HUGE! Have a great trip!

We stayed in Aruba building 52. Our room was on the ground floor right next to the pool. It was great. I know some people don't like the ground floor, but we loved being right next to the pool and could run back and forth for drinks and such from the room.

Aruba or Jamaica. If you have booked a king sized bed room, there are more rooms in Aruba with king beds than the other villages (per a CM in January). It is a beautiful walk to the food court and shop.

If you are not in a preferred category the next closest village I believe is Jamaica.

Trinidad North in a corner room is a amazing!!! We were facing the sand beach (great for napping in the hammocks) and just a few steps from the private pool (great for late night dip or even some laundry) and less than 5 minutes from Old Port Royale!
