CBR/POP bus service which is better

Hubbt and I are taking are yearly cruise in Jan and plan on spending 2 nights at WDW priro to the cruise and then drive to FT. Lauderdale the day of the cruise. Which transportation is better. Have never stayed at either one but I will stay at the CBR in June and Pop in Oct.

I prefer the bus service at Pop. We stayed at CBR in July 03. There are many stops before even leaving the resort. This made it very difficult when the busses were full as some were getting off and some getting on at each stop. It was worse for MK than any of the other parks. It did seem to take a long time to get to the parks from the resort. We stayed at Pop 5/04 and everyone boards the busses at Classic Hall the only other potential stop is to one of the water parks when going to DTD. 9 times out of 10 though the driver would ask if anyone was going to the water park and if there wasn't anyone then he would not stop at all. We felt like we got to the parks faster than when we stayed at CBR and it just seemed to go a lot smoother. HTH

I agree - Pop was much better!!! CBR just has sooo many stops that it seemed like it took 15 minutes just to get out of the resort but I suppose that depends on what building you are in. Usually by the time the busses made it to our stop they were full and it was standing room only.

I was shocked at how quickly we got to the parks from Pop Century. I swear it only took us like 10 minutes to get to MK one day.

Hands down, POP is the winner. We stayed at CBR in June '03 and there was several times that we had to sit at the bus stop and watch full busses go by. If you happen to be in one of the areas that the busses stop at first you might be ok, but we were somewhere near the middle and did not have much luck. We were at POP this past Thanksgiving and it was much better. I would have to say that it was almost as good as the bus service we had at AKL when it first opened. We're going back to POP in June and can't wait until we leave!!!

We just got back from CBR and had no problems with the buses. We stayed in Jamaica and sometimes we were the first to be picked up/dropped off depending on which way the driver came in. On the occasions we had to be in the loop it never really seemed long.
We thought the bus service was great but have nothing to compare it to as this was are first trip.
