CBR Poolside entertainment

DH and I are going for a first ever visit to WDW w/out kids!Staying at my favorite resort, CBR. To anyone who's visited recently, is there still entertainment on certain nights by the pool?
Two different years we've enjoyed a calypso/reggae band around 8pm.

Also, what time has the poolside bar been closing?

I haven't seen a calypso band anytime we have gone there, but I heard that they use to have one. We were there in 2001 and 2002 (in late Aug) and no entertainment of any kind.

The last time I was there was May 1999. There was no band there.

Too bad.. It was great fun, and the band demanded lots of audience participation. Both years we saw them in August.

We were there over Easter and no entertainment poolside, although back in October of 1999 there was the band you described.

We were there June 18-27 and there was no entertainment by the pool, the bar closed at midnight. Try the Cocoa Mocha drink it was great! Tammy
