CBR...planning trip for May 2008...

and I have read on this site that the main pool will be closed until June
2008. Will be taking ds who will be almost 5 at time of trip, but now wondering if we should book elsewhere since the main pool will be closed. Will the "quiet" pools suffice for swimming? Any advice/suggestions appreciated! TIA, Patty

For a 5 year old I think the quiet pool will suffice. We actually spent more time in the quiet pool than at the main pool. The quiet pool was much closer to our room. Actually right straight out the door. We love CBR. (Can't tell by my signiture can you?) My kids love CBR as well. We were talking about staying at a different resort for our next stay and the kids through a fit. They wanted to stay at CBR again. I think you will enjoy CBR without the main pool. I agree with above post. We had a wonderful time 6/8-6/16 2007 at CBR. It is a lovely resort

Even my teenagers prefer the quiet pools! We almost always had them to ourselves, smaller and more manageable pools, and CBR is great! Enjoy!
