Does anyone have pics of the pirate rooms at CBR??? We are planning on booking the pirate rooms in Aug but I just want to make sure that it is going to be worth the extra money. THANKS!!

We are staying there after Thanksgiving, if anyone has any recent pirate room picts we would love to see them too.

Thanks.

I was just touring the interwebs and came upon this great video tour of a pirate room in Trinidad South:

my take away:
The pirate room theming is very thorough and it looks like a nice room.

I will say, this is my first visit to disney in 20 years, so I may be missing something, however:

Compared to the cost/amenities of the DTD hotels, I hope that the "Magic"(transportation, EMF, DDP) of staying on property makes up for the smallish seeming room. I have been researching average hotel/condo prices for the area and they offer so much more space and benefit (free wifi) for the same cost. However, I booked a MYW with DDP, so I will wait until after I stay on property to make any judgement.

We completely enjoyed the Pirate Room!

This is from my TR:

We were in building 37, ground floor. I had requested building 34 or 35, but we ended up being in a great spot. We were steps from the pool and bus stop.
Drumroll, please......

The room was so fun, nicely done!! CBR was all that I hoped it would be. I said in another post that all the hoo-rah about TS being sooooo far away from OPR is really overblown. It took us 5 minutes to walk there from the room, and we weren't even in a building close to TN. We did take the internal shuttle a few times, but could have walked there and back at least twice for the amount of time it took to wait for and ride the shuttle.

It looks great!!! :cool2:

We check in there 3 weeks from today. I imagine I am going to end up filling half of an SD card just of photos of the room! Way cool!

Just swapped our June ressie to the pirate rooms.....looks cool, hope I made the right decision!!

I am so torn...the Pirate Rooms looks so nice...very magical...lol..I have a DS13 & DD3...I don't know if I am making the right decision putting us in there. I have heard alot of complaints about the distance and also that the beds actually weren't comfortable to adults because they have no boxsprings...I was so glad to see your post...but could you please elaborate on the beds/comfort...and you have said it was only a five minute walk and others have said 10-15...lol...I am not opposed to walking...but would we be more suited towards the Preferred Rooms??? Is DS too old for the Pirate Room???? He was excited about it when I showed him the pics....thoughts, anyone??? Thank you!!!
