CBR pics.

Love the pictures. I am excited about staying at the CBR. If only they would have queen beds by January 21st...all would be perfect!

We stayed at CBR in July for two weeks. We absolutely loved the resort, and I took tons of pictures ;)

...do you want more? ;)

I am really enjoying this thread. I just switched our Pop portion of our trip to CBR (first time staying here) and we are so excited about it...we will be there from 1/25-1/28. I do have one question, my DH wants to be closest to the main building (we booked a waterview) and I think it would be fun to stay in a Nemo room since my girls love that movie. Which Island should I request? I know a request is just a request, no guarantees. Thanks for the help :goodvibes

We just stayed in Trinidad North and it wasn't a far walk at all. I think all the rooms have the Nemo theme except for the pirate rooms.

Thank you for the reply, I was under the assumption that the Nemo rooms were only in one area of the resort :goodvibes.

If you want to be assured of a room close to Old Port Royale (food court, main pool, marina, etc.), then I'd switch from a waterview room to a preferred toom. I believe the cost is the same. At any Disney resort, a waterview room can mean a view of the pool or a lake/river.

If you keep the waterview room, then I'd suggest requesting a room in either Jamaica or the non-preferred buildings in Martinique. We have stayed in Jamaica three times and in Martinique three times. Our longest walk was from Jamaica Bldg. 41 and it was just a 5 minute walk so that wasn't long at all. My mother is 77 years old and had no problems walking from Jamaica to Old Port Royale.

As the previous poster said, all rooms, with the exception of the village of Trinidad South, are Nemo themed. The theming isn't over the top but there are quite a few cute Nemo touches such as in the bedspread and wallpaper border.

I have posted many pictures of the resort and the rooms here on the CBR pics thread and I have more in my trip report. Just click on the link in my signature if you want to have a look around.

Has the inside of the CBR food court been refurbished recently? It looks like new colors, but I could be wrong?

I only did a tour of the place with other travel agents...They didn't mention it being recently refurbed (since Shutters was added) but it might be.
Mickeystoontown would know for sure, and she posts here quite a bit.

The colors do look like they've been spruced up a bit since our last visit.

I wish I was too. It's starting to get cold here, and I could maybe take one of the 110 days right now. :lmao:
