CBR pics.

the photo of mickey in the picture - is this standard to all guests or were you celebrating something special?

We were celebrating our son's 14th birthday. When we checked in, he was given a Birthday button and when we got to our room, the picture was waiting on the table.

I've been so busy since we've gotten home from the Caribbean Beach Resort that I haven't written a proper review. I have, however, started my trip report if any of you want to come along for the ride. Just click on the link in my signature below.

For those of you who were waiting for my pictures of the resort, here are a few. I have many more to follow.

I took the following stair pictures specifically for those who had asked if there were elevators and, if not, were the stairs hard to climb. (They are not.)

From what I have read, there are. I know that there is one in Jamaica, Martinique and Trinidad North so I'm assuming the info. I have read is correct.

Okay, thanks! :goodvibes I am considering doing laundry this trip since we will be there for 10 days. That will be really convenient if there is one in our village!

I usually refuse to do laundry while on vacation but, this time, we had extra days and more down time at the resort. I went to the food court one day and got pizzas and salads and we ate by the pool while doing laundry. It was very convenient and I didn't feel like we were wasting precious vacation time.

Yes, there is laundry for each section at CBR.

Well that sounds like a plan. I was thinking that I would have to go to OPR to do laundry. Sitting by the quiet pool waiting on laundry doesn't sounds too bad. :thumbsup2

I thought I remembered taking a picture of the beverage selections in the store but I can’t find it. I do remember that milk and juice was approximately the same price as we paid at an offsite grocery store, Publix. A six pack of canned Cokes was lots higher and were either $6 or $8! Yikes!

There was also a round rack of various magazines for sale in the store but I didn’t take a picture of them.

thanks for the great pics - makes me even more excited about staying there then i already was.

I have been looking at the map and figuring we will probably be in building 35; because we have pirate room with water view. As I have been looking there is a bus stop in that area.

I am wonderng is that bus stop for busses going to the parks or is it an internal bus for the resport? (hope this makes since)

It is for both. You just go to your bus stop and then wait for the bus that you want. When the buses pull up they are marked on the front and usually the side of the bus where they are going. And if it's the internal resort bus it will say - Internal.

:goodvibes

it's me again - wondering how the food is at shutter's trying to figure out if i should make adr's for them?

Im just wondering, I know that they prob dont do this for everyone, right? but when we go I had put on our reservation we re celebrating our anniversary, and its also our oldest sons bday.. now Im worried if they do do somethign special my almost 4 yr old will feel really left out.. He is just starting preschool in Sept (when we are going) do you think Disney would allow me to add that as a celebration to the reservation, so in the chance they do something special he will have something there too? Id hate for him to be broken hearted that Mickey left him out ya know..

if we have an ADR for early before a park opens, will there be a bus available for us to get there? Wed be leaving CBR around 7am on those days? if there is a bus to the parks for the people with ADRs will we have to get it from the main stop by Port Royal or will there be buses by Trin South where we are staying at that time?

I would phone and explain the situation, I'm sure Disney won't want to leave any kids out. Double check that they have noted your request when you check-in.
