In their current construction state... which would you pick?

We are headed there in a couple of weeks but a room just opened up at CBR, we have stayed at CSR but we would really like to try a new resort - but I'm afraid of the construction at CBR, is it worse than CSR?

I also like that CSR is closer to AK - we'll be headed there 2 days of the trip.

CBR has a food trucks as the only way to get food right now. I wouldn't try a new resort in the state CBR is in, you will not get a good feel for if you really like the resort or not. And yes, CSR is very close to the Animal Kingdom, if that is where you are spending a lot of time.

Awesome, thanks for the input!

Though I do agree that CSR would be the resort of choice between the 2 right now, the food trucks are not the only option. There is a food tent serving Breakfast and dinner buffets and there is a new Quick Service restaurant, The Spyglass Grille, open.

Thanks for the good info. It’s hard to figure all that out since the CBR thread is so large.

CSR! It's one of our favorites. I would choose CSR over CBR any day, construction or not.

It would depend on how much time you intend to spend at the resort and if the food court is important to you. The construction at CSR is not that intrusive, we were there the week before Christmas and while you could see the cranes behind the walls and there was small equipment located at the buildings that were being reburbed, it wasn't that big of a deal. From what I understand the main pool is going to be closed around September for a while. We only use the food court for breakfast a few days and rarely visit the gift shops at resorts, usually just to pick up packages we have had sent from the parks so the construction at CBR wouldn't bother us. It would also depend on how often you visit and if this is going to be the last trip for awhile. Frankly, I usually just book which ever one is less.

CBR is $44 cheaper (total) I think I’ll stick to CSR. I was really wanting the exta bed since the girls fight about sharing a bed sometimes.
