We currently have reservations for 3/13 to 3/22 at POFQ but DH and DD are saying they love that resort but they would like to try something new. I really have no interest in POR, don't want to go back to a Value and refuse to pay the price for a Deluxe.
So you tell me...which one is best? CBR or CSR?

CSR!! Awesome main pool area, terrific transportation and great food.

ps - Caribbean Beach's main pool will be closed for rehab during 1/2008 to 6/2008.

I have stayed at both and in my opinion CBR is more family friendly. CSR is huge and can be a chore to navigate at times. Also, the Pepper Market is a little more pricey than CS at CBR.

CBR has great bus service and you can get to the CS from pretty much any area.

I personally prefer CBR however, the pool will be closed so I'd check out CSR. I like to stay at alot of different resorts for the experience. I love POR! That is my favorite, second would be CBR.

After staying at both I pick CSR hands down. I find the layout at CBR to be horrible and the theming was only okay to me. I really felt like they did a much better job in general at CSR. I love the pool at CSR as well... it was hard for us to find the pool at CBR when we stayed due to the layout.

Supposedly CSR is bigger, but it is much easier to navigate through the resort. In all honesty CBR is my least favorite of all the moderates now.

With the main pool being closed at CBR that kind of helps me make up my mind. I looked at information regarding Pepper Market on allearsnet.com and have to say I like what I see for food. The is the only complaint I had about POFQ I wasn't thrilled with the food at the food court. I honestly thought All Star Movies had a better selection. I am a bit of a healthy eater and got REAL tired of the options at POFQ. I think CSR menu looks like I will be able to find some healthy options.
Any preferred area of CSR that you recommend we request?

Here are some good building choices...

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building.

Decision made for us! Called this evening to switch CSR from POFQ and the only room they have available during our stay is a Junior Suite. Was going to raise our package and additional $2,520. So we will be staying with POFQ. Don't want to do CBR with the main pool being closed.
