CBR or CSR

We are thinking of either the CBR or CSR. We have stayed at the CBR before and like it but were thinking of trying something new.

I know the big complaints about the CBR is that it is big and the bus service is not great. We would stay in the preferred location and rent a car so neither apply.

Those two complaints aside, how would you compare the resorts? Which is better?

We have stayed at both CSR (twice)and CBR (once). We really enjoyed both but are returning to CBR again this summer. CSR has a great food court (Pepper Market but pricey), beautiful grounds, great pool, and we would go back in a heartbeat. We chose CBR for our summer trip this year because we did miss the tropical theme at CBR and found while beatiful, the theme at CSR a little less fun. If it makes a difference, we also booked a preferred location as well at CBR. At CSR we always requested buildings closer to the main area b/c like CBR, it is pretty large and can take a while to walk.
That being said, if you have done CBR, why not try CSR, you wont be disappointed with either choice.

we've stayed at CSR in the past and are staying there again this December and are really looking forward to returning. the bus service is great (does not share with any other resorts) and since a lot of the guests are there to attend conventions, it is not overly crowded. I find it to be a very nice, relaxing resort and would definitely recommend it!!

We've stayed at CBR around 10 times, but when planning our spur-of-the-moment vacation for the end of May-early June we weren't able to get CBR.

For a couple that loves CBR will the Cabanas section of CSR fulfill our Caribbean craving?

I think the cabana section of the resort is pretty similar to CBR.

After falling in love with the CBR, I really can't make myself stay at any other moderate resort. In fact, we are headed back to the CBR in just 16 days!

We've stayed at CBR twice and will be staying at CSR for the first time in just a few weeks. Looking forward to the Dig Site, the Pepper Market, and just the change of pace. CBR was great, looking forward to the CSR experience !
