CBR or ASm for Dec???

Hi!
We are currently booked for CBR for 3 nights in early Dec. It will be me and my dd6. This is our first time going in Dec, and we are very excited about seeing all of the decorations.
I booked CBR for us because I thought it fun to check out the new pool. But since it's Dec, we might not really be swimming that much.
I've always wanted to stay at ASm, but I worried that the rooms would be too small for our family of 4+ pack &play. Since it's just me and dd this time, room size won't be an issue.
Which resort would be better for holiday decorations???

What are your dates? And is Allstar M the movies or the Music. The reason I ask is the the POP Warner group will be in WDW the second week of Dec, the 7th to the 13th. The value resorts that they stay in are the Allstar Sports and Allstar Music. I have not had any problems with the group but, since they are such a large group and they tend to hit the foodcourt and/or the pool all at the same time and it really creates a problem. During the day they are generally at their competitions but at night they go to the parks and now you've got crowded buses.
The decorations at the Allstar resort were minimal, there was garland in the lobby and I think a small tree that was about it. I have never stayed at the CBR during the holiday season so I can not help you out there
I've stayed at the value resorts when I've gone by myself but I find that lately I like the amenities at the moderates. I like having a bigger room, a fridge in the room and a coffee pot. I like calling bell services to get my luggage and not have to schlep it around the resort.

Thanks for the reply- and good tip about the luggage! I hadn't even considered that. The M was for movies- (sorry about that). We would be checking in 12/5 and checking out 12/8 so we might run into the Pop Warner group some. What you said about the decorations makes me think we just need with to stick with CBR- hope there will be fun decorations there. Of course I would love WL for the holidays, but it's just not in the budget for this trip.
