Couple notes so far.

Went to the Poly beach for 10pm MK fireworks on Sat. night. The beach was awesome with the views. The fireworks lasted only 6 mins. Big whoop. I wouldn't bother going for the fireworks, but just the quietness and view for 30 minutes was worth it. Poly seems like a nice resort - I was surprised.

Had Pooh breakfast Sun morn at CP. Was raining hard, lots of empty tables meant more char time for us!! Best part was riding the rides with NO ONE around. Rode Pooh 2 times without getting off.

Will try the fireworks at Epcot tonight using the AP viewing area.

Hope to do some hotel hopping later in the week.

Hope you are having a great time. Did it take you very long to chceck in. I hear it can take a really long time. What building are you staying at? Have you had a chance to eat at the food court and if so how was it and what was your favorite place there. Madam - We are in Trinadad North. The food court is really nice. Food is great and lines are short. Buses from the hotel have been great. Buses back after 9pm events have been a little slow - mostly from MK.

Bus tip - If you're in Trinadad South you can take any bus from Port to get back to TS. Every bus stops at TS after Port.

CBRCrazy - Yes, checkin was very slow. About 45 minutes. They just didn't have the man power to handle it and it seemed every person had special needs. BUT, when it was your turn, you got to ask any questions you wanted. They were very nice. The pizza and burgers are great for a quick bite or late snack(had pizza at 11pm last night)

Jenny - My daugther kissed Mickey for you and gave him the news.

Madcoco - Only saw PC briefly on one bus pass...not a factor.

Plib - I like the resort but would not want to stay at TS or Barb sections. To far for quick trips back and forth to the Port.

On a side note....The Disney Characters are all over the place. More than I've ever seen. We must have visted with over 20 char in 3 days. I will post pictures some time next week. 10 rolls of film and counting in 4 days.

I was wondering, has disney explainded why they cancelled all May E-Ride nights? My best friend and I leave on Monday and were disappointed by this!

Hey, just wanted to say have a great time! We just got back from there and loved CBR too!


About the Pop Century thing. I have to second that its not a factor. We stayed in Martinique and all we could see was some road or something that was being put in adjacent to the road for our resort. Too many trees and I kept wondering where the heck Pop Century even WAS. You CAN however see the tippy top of the Epcot ball and the wand, etc. from Old Port Royale Wish we had been home some night around Illuminations night... would have loved to have seen if you can hear the music/ see some of the fireworks.

And finally Denman--- what do you think about the location of Trin. North in comparison to the pool/ OPR? We really didn't get a chance to walk around much to any of the other areas, as we were right on top of the main area it seemed like.

I'm in Trid North 32. The building is nice as are all the buildings. I don't thing I would want to be any farther away. Jamac and Arbua can be quite far too. Yes, it can be a nice stroll but to make many trips, I could see it being a pain.

We had a bus meltdown this evening. We waited 70 mins for a bus to pick us up from MGM. They had to flag 2 buses down and have them chg their routes to take us back. It seems in general, buses to CBR having be lacking. Luckily we were just on are way back to the room for sleep.

Note - Bench outside of TN 32 has a GREAT view of the Epcot fireworks!!

Thanks for answering my questions. Just one more for now. How far are the hammocks form TN bldg. #31? We have smokers in our group so I will be requesting that building. Hope you're still enjoying your trip!

The busses were great when we were there a few weeks ago, I wonder if they cut down on busses again. I second that the bench outside of TN 32 is PERFECT for Epcot fireworks. We found that by acident when we stayed in 32!!!

Pop Century is MUCH more visible from the Trinidad South area underneath the bridge near the TN beach.... Take a walk down to the end of the lake and you'll see what I mean. Trinidad South si THE WORST place to be because of the HIKE to OPR and because of the view of Pop Century. Add the construction noise to that and I don't know why anyone would want to stay there. YOu CAN see spaceship earth from Trinidad South, though. It is only the top part and it looks far away, but you can see it.

CBR is a beautiful resort but I don't think we'll be staying here again...at least not for a while. When I return I will post some stuff about the trip and the resort.

Did you get to use the AP viewing area at EPCOT? We were there 5/14-5/22 and tried to use that area. We were told that the AP privilege was over with. They did say that the AP lounge in the Land was open still but the viewing area was off limits now. I had already used the AP lounge at the Land so I knew that but was disapointed about the viewing area being eliminated.

There is not an AP viewing area anymore. They tried it out and found the space provided was large enough for all the AP holders. Back to the drawing board. I was told something will be available when they decide what to do.
