CBR Location Request

I have never been to CBR and will be staying there in December. I am booked in a Standard Water/Pool view. I'm looking for suggestions for a location request since we are getting close to our 60 day online check-in. I know that requests are simply requests and won't always be honored but I would like to add some sort of request. What locations do you suggest? Again, I have never been to CBR so I don't have any idea of the resort layout other than the maps I have looked at. Thanks!!!

We stayed in Aruba just across the bridge from Port Orleans. It was fun to take the short walk across the bridge every morning and not have to pay for a Preferred room.

We are going down the last week in October and just received a letter that the bridge is out between Jamaica and Aruba so they will shuttle you from those islands to OPR don't know if my pirate themed room is considered preferred --- still debating if I want to switch hotels. Really bummed about it.

Your Pirate room is not preferred, but it is an upgraded room. And, unfortunately, in the least desirable (for most) location at CBR.

The Pirate Themed rooms are not affected by the bridge being out at all.

I know the bridge is due to be opened some time in December, I am just not sure as to when. But I would avoid Jamaica or Aruba, we were just there and it was awful! The internal shuttle took forever, we waited longer for that then any ride our whole trip. Plus the service was awful. I would try for Martinique if possible
