CBR.....I called about the construction.......to change or not to change?

I called to find out about the construction, I was assured the pool deck construction would be competed by 11/13/07.......the first person I talked to said the main pool is closed now! But the second person said it was not. would not be until january. after our visit.
they said there is no fishing in the lake........but no one could tell me what was going on down by the beach area/ lake area? they seemed clueless. I even mentioned cranes and pilings? but no one seemed to know what i was talking about.
hubby is a little annoyed that any thing is going on during our stay, I told him most threads here say it should not be an issue,
he doesn't really want to switch resorts, but now I am considering it.
would you change?
WL and Poly are booked I would have gone for it
Beach Club has openings. as does some other moderates port orleans riverside
and i think fq.
what to do?
I was looking forward to cbr, but i really don't like the idea of cranes and construction going on.........I don't know, but then I feel like I may regret switching.
online says no rooms at WL or poly, do you think i should call to be sure?

I am just back from CBR. If you look at the first post in the CBR FAQ you can see some pictures that I took of the construction area.

The pool is still open. We didn't find it bad at all. The only thing different is you walk through the pool area to get to Old Port Royale the food court if you are coming off the bridge.

I wouldn't change your resort because of it.

safety mom.........is it loud and obvious that construction is going on? when you are at the main pool, is it like being in a construction area?
we have a preferred room booked. so i am not sure which of those buildings we would be in.
Do you think I should request one over the other?

We were in a preferred room in Martinique. Most of the time you heard no noise from the construction. Every now and then you heard some noise as the crane moved around when we were sitting at Old Port Royale.

As you are sitting in the pool area you don't even see the construction, just the top of the crane if you look that way.
