Hi everyone,

We LOVED POR's food court mainly because of the "create your own pasta" station. They serve it in little boxes. My kids want to know if they have this and the "create your own salad" station at CBR like at POR. Anyone?

Thank you!
Angie

I was there last august, and don't recall any make your own type stations. Though we did only go once, as we weren't impressed with the food.

Perhaps you should look at the resorts thread for CBR. Safety Mom can probably tell you for sure if there is or not.

Have fun! CBR has become our "home".

While we enjoy CBR, we don't enjoy the food at the food court. I dont recall any stations to customize anything. Just a food court with ready made food.

no, CBRs food court sucks (sorry, i know that's strong language, but it is really the PITS!!!) :(
we were very disappointed in it every time we used it... the set up is totally inconvenient, the variety minimal, very limited grab 'n go, the salad station closes mid-day, unless everyone wants the same breakfast you have to stand on totally different lines, shall i go on?
on the other hand, we liked POFQ/POR's food courts as well as both ASMu and Pop...

Wow, we really liked the food court at CBR. Large, airy, lots of seating and selections.

We were never there for dinner, but did have lunch there a coupleof times, each time hitting the pasta station, unfortunately pizza was our selection and we found it to be pretty good stuff. They definitely have a couple of pasta types like linguine and ziti and I think a couple of sauces, breadsticks, salad. We got the pizza combo meal and the salad was so good I didn't even bother to add dressing. Very fresh assortment of veggies. We got the breakfast platter too, skipping the meat portions and even with sharing my 6yo nephew and I didn't finish. What we did eat held us until dinner at Boma at 6pm though. We had an ice cream bar snack in between, but that was it for the day.

The Grab & Go section there is large with lots of choices too. Pre packaged sandwiches (including the kid PB&J), sushi platters, fruit and cheese platters, fresh fruit (6yo loved the sliced apples with caramel dip), tremendous fresh baked goods selection. We also took advantage of the novelty ice cream treat case (Mickey bars and Itzakadoozies in particular).

I have never been to POR so I can't complain. However, the Grab & Go, Broiler, Pasta and Deli stations provide variety. And you should be able to find seating, somethig I understand can be a challenge at some of the resorts, esp. the Deluxes.

Hopefully the kids will find something to love about CBR too.
