CBR--five vs four persons in a room?

Hi all!
We are excited to be staying at CBR in 3 weeks! Our ressie was made for 4 people, but DS now wants a friend to join us on our trip. I see some rooms can have 5 people at CBR--we are booked SV but it says 2 queen beds or 2 queen beds and murphy bed, so I guess since we are 4 right now they would put us in a room with 2 queens and no murphy bed? Should I/can I call now to add DS's friend to our ressie so we have a room with 5 people? Or should we wait till we get there to add him to the ressie? We are room only right now and his friend is 9 y.o. (is there an extra charge for over 4 people? We are 2 adults 2 children, soon to be 2 adults 3 children).

I would call and add the child now. Nothing would suck more than to get there and they have no rooms that will hold 5 people. They only charge the extra fee for more than two adults (18+) in the room.

Don't wait until there get there as it's not as simple as just adding a 5th person if you are assigned to a room that only accommodates 4. You need to call now and see if a room that accommodates 5 is available for your dates. If one is not available at CBR, you will have to change resorts to one that does accommodate 5. There will not be an extra charge as long as all kids are under the age of 18, but you do need to make sure you are booked in a room that accommodates 5 people.
