We stayed here in 2003 and the first stop was Jamaica then, but it sounds like from most of the posts that they have changed this. I requested Jamaica so we would be the first stop. Does anyone know how the bus runs now is it Martinique or Jamaica first?

Also some of the posts have sounded that people are not having very good experiences with CRB. I am going in 19 days and staying at CRB, we loved it in 2003, I hope we will be just as happy with it in 2005.

fbanda,

Let me know how it works. I will be going 9/4 - 9/10 and would find this helpfull!

Hi there! We were there June 17-26, 2005 and stayed in Martinque we were the first bus stop if they came in the front entrance, if they came in the back entrance i believe it was Jamaica first. We love CBR, that was our third trip there! Also about the bus stops some of them are under refurb so they will be moved back into the parking area, this was not a problem and the busses were running fine never waited more than 10 min. Hope you have a magical vacation!! ::MinnieMo

Did you happen to eat any meals at Shutters??? We're staying at CBR in October and was thinking of having dinner there our first night. We stayed at CBR in 98, but never ate there and I think the name and menu has changed since then too.

Sorry not really on the bus subject!!

I will second what TammySB said - there are two entrances for buses, and there seems to be no consistent pattern to which one they use when. We stayed in Jamaica in December 04, and sometimes we were picked up first, sometimes not. We, also, found the waits for buses to be very short - usually 10 minutes or so.

We did not eat at Shutters, but the Counter Service for us was great at Old Port Royale. It was easier and faster to eat at the Counter Service, this was our first trip with DS7 at the time. Maybe we will this trip, if we do I will let you know how it was you hear so may good reports about the resort restaurants we will have to start one for Shutters.

As others have said, it would depend on where the bus entered. I think most of the park buses, Jamaica was first and for DTD and Typhoon Lagoon Martinique was first.

CBR seemed to have the best bus service that I have experienced.
